Ten thousand Minecraft fans met in London on Saturday and Sunday for a convention celebrating the popular video game.
Microsoft, the company that owns Minecraft and Minecraft, offered a small group of gamers a "golden ticket" to try its latest Augmented Reality device Hololens.
The company is working on a version of Minecraft that runs on the system. It lets gamers project their creations on any flat surface in 3D.
Callum Ward, who tested the device on Saturday, said that it was more difficult than a console.
His brother Toby acknowledged that it took a bit of getting used to, but praised the "cool features" added to the game, like the ability to zap other players with lightning strikes.
Minecon 2015 set a new record in the world for the number of tickets sold at an event focusing on just one game.
Robert and Vik, YouTube video stars better known as MrWoofless or Vikkstar123HD were among the crowd.
Vik told the BBC that Minecon was an unforgettable experience as YouTuber. We create content for a worldwide audience and it's very rare that they meet us.
