Minecraft VR Arrives on Oculus Rift

Lovers of sandbox game Minecraft will be able to lose themselves in its world of blocky graphics when the game launches on Oculus Rift.



Global Xbox and PC users who have already played the game will be able to get a free Windows 10 beta update to enter into the VR world.



The game is one of the first major titles to launch on the highly anticipated Facebook-owned Oculus Rift, which is scheduled for its European launch next month.

Writing on Xbox Wire, the game's AR/VR developer Mike McGrath, said: 'For new and experienced gamers, we hope that the VR experience in Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta will show how powerful, emotive and immersive VR can be.'



Tweaks to the VR version of the game include the ability to look over ledges
