Over half a billion times since their debut, Las Vegas-bred brothers Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig and Emerson Barrett's fashion-art rock has garnered an ardent cult following thanks to their fast-paced, dirty rock'n'roll. The band is back with their most ambitious and enthralling album to yet, Fever Dream. The album is produced by Grammy-nominated Chris Greatti, (Yungblud and WILLOW), and brimming over with pure emotion. The first two singles The Punching Bag, No Love In LA, are simultaneously awe-inspiring and hair-raising as well as The Royal Council features wry musical riffs and social commentary.
The three-piece were joined by Scott Lipps, SPIN's Editorial Director Daniel Kohn and host Scott Lipps to discuss their new album in the latest episode. Laughing and trading Palaye Royale Merch Store discussed their desire to channel the Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder's energetic stage style and how they grew up listening to The Beatles. Palaye Royale was formed in Toronto, Canada in 2018 by Sebastian Danzig (guitar and keyboard), Remington Leith (vocals) and Emerson Barrett (drums). The band named themselves Palaye Royale in honor of the dance hall in which their grandparents met for the first time back in the 1960s. The style of the band is heavily influenced by Tim Burton and they call it fashion-art rock.
The band is popular with the younger generations. Their music has been described by some as pop punk, with elements of glamour. Their latest album, Fever Dream, is a perfect example of their music. The band toured to promote the album including their performance at NYC's Webster Hall.
The song "Lifeless Stars" is a popular choice for fans and the group has played the song at all of their performances.
