The self-described "Alien death core" band from California is an original style of blending science fiction themes with metal. It's the result of a unique and intriguing style of extreme metal. Rings Of Saturn have created something completely original using fast riffs that include an effect of harmony. They also make use of the quickest tempos as well as ambient elements. Their first album Embryonic Anomaly was an impressive effort. It was not perfect, and the music may not be to everyone's liking, but it demonstrated that an artist can make a spacey and technical blend of deathcore and still retain its essence.
They continued to explore this with huge success with their second album, Dingir. The production was more refined and precise than the Embryonic Anomaly. The record also featured more mature and sophisticated songwriting. The band was able experiment with new ideas, both technical and creative concepts.
On the third album Lugal Ki En the band have pushed their boundaries further. The band developed their own style and refined all of the concepts they'd used in previous albums. Production was very precise and the songwriting more mature.
On this album, the band proved they are an entity to reckon with. This is their most well put together record to date. This album has enhanced the quality of all classic songs that came from Embryonic Anomaly, Dingir and other albums.
