Kendrick and Dave Free launched their pglang products last year, starting with just a logo and website. After a series teasers that featured K-Dot, Baby Keem and Jorja Smith The "multilingual" company is now revealing what it does for living. Established as an "at-service" creative business that blurs the lines between music, art fashion, and much more, pglang has partnered with Calvin Klein for a series of short films with LA's most powerful creative voices. The campaign pglang transforms the conventional fashion-focused campaign into raw storytelling performed by the movement artist Mecca Allah, actor/directors Travis Bennett and Ryan Destiny, singer and positivity influencer Amber Wagner, R&B singer Brent Faiyaz and comedian/vlogger Exavier.
Each film features a distinct creator taking viewers on a trip through their typical day or, at the very least, an average day. The short videos range from touching and funny to dark and edgy. The creators don't consider themselves or their work too seriously.
In the spring of this year, pglang revealed that fans could purchase merchandise used during The Big Steppers Tour at the merch store. pglangmerch includes t-shirts and hoodies that are similar to the ones worn during the tour that sold out. The collection can be purchased by fans via this link. The tees are $50, while the caps and hoodies are $100. Each item is made from ethically sourced and sustainable materials. Shirts are available in sizes that range from XS to 5XL. Some styles feature moisture-wicking fabrics for extra comfort. The shirts are printed using the latest ink-to-shirt technology, and is shipped from the USA via UPS.
