Marvel's Doctor Strange Costume Reveals Mystical Aspect
Doctor Strange has mastered magic and is a master in the multiverse. His costume should reflect this. dr strange costume started her career as a Marvel costume designer with Thor. Doctor Strange is a character with mystical qualities. It's no surprise that he has always been a fun character to dress. His first, less-flashy outfit is a perfect illustration of how a well crafted piece can define an superhero.

The blue robes that he wore over his red cloak gave readers of the Silver Age a sense of symmetry, while yellow accents like his sash and bracelets reinforced his mysterious nature. Ditko also created a chestpiece to highlight his powers. It has been used in every Doctor Strange look since.

Byrne has reworked an old Doctor Strange costume, but he's done it in a way that is more streamlined and modern. The tunic is darker and the cuffs light, with a tiny touch of red to tie everything together. Although it may not be quite as striking as Strange's original suit, this one is still very stylish and appropriate for his newfound role as Sorcerer Supreme.

Strange's Final Costume, which he donned while fighting Dark Dimension Man-Thing at Earth-13729, is reflective of his transition into Sorcerer-Supreme. His robes remain, but his robes look a lot less dramatic. A gold ornate vest gives him a more regal appearance. The Eye of Agamotto Amulet has been positioned differently and, while it may appear more like an Infinity Stone rather than the actual item, this costume is still great.

Byrne & her team designed costumes to illustrate Strange's journey and emotional underpinning. From Strange's initial incarnation, as a highly-skilled neurosurgeon, through his final transformation to the Sorcerer Supremo, the costumes are designed with grace and clarity. Also, they will contribute to a deeper understanding of the characters in the movie. It's the perfect compliment to Benedict Cumberbatch’s performance as Stephen Strange.
