⚫️Anglo Saxon England were attacked by Vikings.
⚫️Starvation and overpopulation led to the Scandinavian vikings moving to Kievan Rus and Greenland.
⚫️Leif Eriksson, a norweigan viking, found Newfoundland
⚫️THE DANES invaded England, supported by Alfred the Great, but an heir kicked them out.
⚫️Ethelred was king and then Canute conquered England. After his death, some Danes left and stayed and become part of the English culture.
⚫️After battling with the French, the Danes became CHristians, were loyal to French king,a nd settled in Normandy, known as the Normans.
