Cheerful whistling came from the kitchen, along side a a delightful smell of baking sweets floated out of the kitchen. A short, chubby figure dashed back and forth in the kitchen, clattering bowls and utensils filling the air as the figure cleaned up the mess of the kitchen. Baking is not a clean thing. Not at all. Anyways, the small gal scuttled about the kitchen. So as they tidied the place up, how about I introduce them? Yes, great idea! Her name was Jane Crocker, she had recently turned seventeen years old and her mother was a god. Odd thing to say, huh? But it was the plain truth. This small 4'11" Russian had been born a child of a goddess. Which one? Demeter. The Goddess of harvest, who presided over grains and the fertility of the earth. Yeah. Wonderful right? She had grown up with her father most of her life with an extremely green thumb and a love for cooking and baking. Eventually, things got out of control, aka plants growing in speedy time as she walked by. That wasn't even the problem though. It was the people who saw it happen. Boy, were they freaked out! Her father was quick to pack her things and drop her off at this odd camp, saying it would help her find out more about herself and her mother. So. Here she was, second year in and baking in the kitchen because screw fighting. Speaking of which, the cupcakes were done! Jane quickly dashed over to the oven and slipped on the oven mitts and opened the oven, taking out the multiple trays that held the fully baked muffins. Smol happy sigh. Now to let them cool and work on the icing. And there she goooooes.
