He is also a certified glider pilot. He is a past president of the Denver Press Club and a Damon Runyon Award winner. He also serves on the board of directors for his church.
Justin Mock Justin Mock is a reporter for Denver News, the largest news operation in the Rocky Mountain west. He covers the latest local and national stories affecting Denver and its surrounding communities.
He began his career with GDC in 2001 as a Correctional Officer at Calhoun State Prison and quickly moved up the ranks to Sergeant, then Lieutenant, and in February 2017, to his current position as Deputy Warden of Security at Lee State Prison.
Justin is from Cuthbert, GA and attended Albany Technical College for Commercial Truck Driving. He enjoys spending time with his family.
