The application contains select field with class name amount-for to get the category of expense.
An input field with class name amount to get the amount spent on that category.
A button with class name add-button, which when clicked should create a pie chart.
There are two sections exp-chart and exp-list to display expense analysis and logs.
Initially these two sections should not display their contents(none).
When user submits the data, these sections should be made visible. Then amount should be updated in exp object and (displayChart) function is called.
The handler function (displayChart) is given in the code. It utilizes a custom jQuery script for displaying the pie chart.
The label for available categories should be listed inside unordered list with the class name labels.
Each label should contain span tag with class name dot and the label text of that category (eg. Travel ₹200)
The background-color for span tag in each label should be in given respective color.
food: "greenyellow", travel: "yellow", health: "lightblue", rent: "grey".
In the section exp-list, an article tag with class name log is created and below 3 items should be added into the article .
The span tag with class name category and the text as user selected category.
Another span tag with class name spent and the text as user entered value. (eg. ₹200).
A delete icon with class name fas fa-trash-alt.
For every user submission individual article should be added with above 3 items.
If any of the delete icon inside these article is clicked, the particular article is deleted.
Also the chart and the label value should be updated.
If all the expenses under any category is deleted, its label should also be deleted.
If all the expenses under all categories are deleted, the section exp-chart and exp-list should display none.
