Good morning teachers, friends, and parents. My name is Abdalla Saleem from grade 5-B and today I would like to talk about “Should students be required to wear uniforms”

Wearing uniforms makes you look more bad. Students should not be required to wear uniforms. It doesn’t sound right to have students wearing clothes that the school chooses to wear. Requiring students to wear what they want will cost less money for the parents, reduce bullying, and reduce disciplines in schools.

One reason that students should not be required uniforms is that it will cost less money for the parents. Why do the parents spend too much money to buy uniforms? Parents spend plenty of money from their salary to buy uniforms for their kids. If the school doesn’t require students to wear uniforms parents will not have to spend so much money. You would probably only need to buy 3 clothes for the whole school year. Wash your clothes every weekend and wear them again. If you are not able to wash your clothes every weekend you can buy more clothes rather than buying those thirty to forty dollar uniforms. This shows parents cost less money if students are not required uniforms.

Bullying occurs everywhere now. There is bullying at school, online, at the mall, and etc. Second reason that students are not required to wear uniforms at schools is that there is bullying at school is because of what students where. Many students who wear what ever they want they would never get bullied. Schools can put a stop to that by requiring all students to wear what ever they want

Teachers should spend more of their time helping students not watching students in detention. One reason why schools need to require students to wear what they want is that it will avoid detentions. Detentions is associated with what they wear. Boys like to wear baggy jeans that expose a part of them. If uniforms were not required girls and boys at school would be able to wear what ever they want. Wearing uniforms would get students in a detention because they say bad word to each other about their uniforms.

Students should not be required to wear uniforms because it will cost less money, stop or prevent some bullying, and avoid detentions. Wearing clothes that students want benefits schools, students, and parents. Parents will be able to buy more educational stuff for their kids. Students would not have to serve detention, In School Suspension, or Out School Suspension.
