History of the Game. It is said that Derek Webb invented 3 cards poker in 1994. This game had an earlier name and was known as Brit-Brag, Casino Brag, and others. After Webb applied for and was granted patents for the game in the United States and United Kingdom, he began marketing 3 card poker using Prime Table Games.
