The History of the Game. It is believed that Derek Webb invented 3 card poker in 1994. This game had a different name before and was called by other names that are Brit-Brag and Casino Brag. Webb applied for patents in the United States and United Kingdom for the game and was granted them. He then began marketing 3 Card Poker using Prime Table Games.

Round 2: Following the first round, three cards are placed face up on the table (the "flop") which may be utilized in each players hand. Another round of betting takes place at this point. This is the time when the dealer (the little blind) starts clockwise.

The next round of betting continues. Players are dealt another card face down. This pattern continues until each poker player (those not folding their hands) has four cards.

Players may only use three of their community cards to combine with their holes cards, four cards from a board plus one hole card, and all five cards on the table if there is no playable five-card hand. The next difference of the Holdem variant with that of the other poker games is the blind structure.
