1. The difference between Product writing versus Process writing starts with when you begin the writing process, and how you go about doing so. Those who believe they write 'better' under pressure due to a time constraint, would fall under the product category. Those who choose to develop a step-by-step process in their writing, possibly multiple days or weeks before the writing is due, would fall into the Process writing category. In the fourth paragraph of Chapter 2, the author gives an example of the process model of writing, in which the writer would "composing a sequence of thoughtful steps." Not only do those who use the Process model of writing follow a thoughtful step-by-step process, but they also compose multiple drafts, find others who can help review their writing, followed by implementing those changes that are suggested from others, subsequently evolving their thought process towards their subject they're writing about. This strategy in writing is a recipe for success, and I'd find it troubling to say otherwise.

2. Honestly, my typical approach when it comes to being tasked with extensive amounts of writing, likely aligns somewhere between a mix of the two. Although it's challenging to recognize the attributes of my personal writing process, I can still do my best to analyze which traits I have in common with both processes. The first trait in my personal writing process would be getting words down on the page, making sure not to worry too much about the formatting or paragraph and sentence structure. This is important to me because if I spend all my time focused on the formatting and perfection of the writing, before getting a decent amount of words on the page, I'll feel quite stuck, similar to the 'writers block' that was written about in the first page. Once I've got a few paragraphs on the page, I like to go back through and delete some of the extra writing that didn't fit as well that I did, as well as ensuring that all sentences make sense grammatically, and are as close to correctly structured as they can be. I don't tend to reach out to my peers asking for revisions on my writings, but I will certainly reach out to one or two friends who are educated at the collegiate level in terms of writing. My father is a decent writer, so having him review some of my work, has certainly helped my process in the past. I do well with instruction, especially in writing.
