Project basic guide:
Step 1: create our models/mesh in Unreal Engine or find some already built models online and integrate them with our list of models.
1.1 You can import models/objects built in Blender to Unreal Engine.
1.2 Use assets/models from Quixel Bridge (A HUGE library for 3D models)
Step 1.2.1: Sign in with Quixel Bridge using your Epic Games account.
1.2.2Another alternative for Quixel Bridge is Marketplace (Most models are paid, some come free)
Step 2: Use/drop any of our models into your scene (a.k.a. 3D environment).
Step 3: Modify how the models appear in the scene or in what [x y z] corrdinate they appear.
OPTION 1:
You can enable unreal engine with a pre-built scene in Simulink.
The prebuilt scenes in Simulink are stand-alone executables. So you simply need the proper MatLab product installed.
OPTION 2
* We create a custum scene in Unreal Egine from Epics Games. Then, interface Unreal Engine with Simulink.
* To connect a custom scene to simulink, we can co-simulate our custum scenes with the Unreal Editor and Simulink
* To do so, we install the necessary support packages that allows us to work with custum scenes.
* Lastly, we can compile our scene to an executable so we can run it in Simulink, without needing the Unreal Editor anymore.
