《灵枢•经筋第十三》载：“手太阳之筋……循颈出走太阳 之前，结于耳后完骨……其病小指支，肘后锐骨后廉痛……腋 后廉痛，绕肩胛引颈而痛……颈筋急……”手太阳经脉及经筋 行于颈项部，且il述症状可见于神经根型颈椎病，所以对于颈 项强痛，牵及肩胛及上肢疼痛麻木者，应取手太阳经六治疔8
后溪为手太阳小肠经的输穴（见图12)，“荥输治外经”， “输主体重节痛”，并且后溪通督脉，按全息珲论，后溪也对应 于颈项部，所以针后溪尤为适宜。
