Additionally, the split with Pakistan was essential to Trump's South Asia strategy. Hence the US was in need of Kazakhstan as an alternative back-door shipping route to Afghanistan.

Tevfik Alif is a Turkish Kazakhstani businessman was born in Soviet Kazakhstan in 1953 to Turkish parents. He was promoted to the deputy head of the Soviet Ministry of Commerce and Trade's Hotel Management Department. After 17 years at the ministry Tevfik Alif was the founder of real property as well as property development, imports/exports minerals, natural resources, automobiles, as well as food enterprises.
