It was midnight. The woods were dark and dead silent. There was fog everywhere.In the distance there was a dimming light that was only just visible. Suddenly I was pushed over by the wind as it was whirling around knocking everything over in it's way. I started to think about the light again I walked over. The closer I got the more nervous I began to feel, I started to feel a very sick feeling in my stomach.
The light became more visible as I started walking closer. The cold wind was blowing off my face. I could hear the leaves crunching under my feet as I walked. The light turned into the outline of a building, I couldn't tell what kind of building it was but I think that it's abandoned because there was smashed beer bottles all over the floor and there was cigarette packets lying everywhere. As I got even closer I saw a sign the sign said "Care for Kids" I suddenly thought it was an orphanage. I looked the building up and down to try and find clues but the only thing I noticed was the moss on the side of the walls and how most of the letters from the sign was falling off.
I wanted to go and run home to my bed and pretend that this was all just a dream but I couldn't this was real life I had to keep going. I walked in and there was a few rooms then there was a staircase. Suddenly I heard a noise and it gave a chill going up my spine. I was trying to keep going but I was froze to the spot. I started walking until I heard the noise. The noise was like ... erm... CRYING! I was now even more scared than before. I stopped. On the door there was a sign "kitchen" so I walked in. There was a table, oven, fridge, counter and a note? I picked it up it said " Turn around can you hear me? because I know you can." I looked around. Right in front of me was a big black closet. I stepped closer I put my hand on the handle took a deep breathe and opened the door. I closed my eyes 3...2...1 I opened my eyes I was shocked at what I seen, it was a little girl. She looked about 2 years old and she was curled up in a ball sucking her thumb at the back of the closet. I picked
