Although it's simple, I believe it is unfair to hold one person and then hold them accountable for events that took place before their birth. Farnoush Farsiar Queen Elizabeth II was not involved in the darker past of Britain. What she did after taking her position was to ensure that the progress of Britain was evident to the UK as well as the rest of the world.
While some Monarchs remain committed to holding their countries to the values established centuries ago the Queen has made sure Britain is in line with the social and political norms of the west. It's a huge achievement to find a balance between having monarchy in the spotlight and understanding that we are in the 21st Century.

Britain and the nations of the commonwealth will grieve the loss of my role in her life, her legacy and her strength as well as a human being of great character. Let her go to heaven and be with her beloved husband.
