Lego Minecraft combines two things that complement each other so well. You don't need to believe us; we can demonstrate. Today we're bringing you another real-life piece of art with some animation. Reddit user GoodSirCompany uploaded a sweet clip of their first Lego Minecraft stop-motion animation. The clip shows a player wearing black armour, running through the air and battling an uninformed skeleton. It's a great little work and, while it has some rough edges, it's got a nice smoothness in the battle.
It's also packed with amazing little details. The fire is one of the most striking elements. It flickers constantly to give the miniature diorama a sense that it is moving. For those who are observant, you'll also notice an appearance from something that's unusual in the background. Who doesn't love a good cameo?

As it's GoodSirCompany's first attempt at this, there are also some pretty helpful comments in response to it, too. It's clear that the shadows in the background are moving. However, a great lighting source can be helpful. There's also camera shake which is most likely to happen when GoodSirCompany hits the camera button. Slasken06 suggested that the shake could be corrected by using wireless headphones to capture the pictures. You could also use the remote. If you didn't anticipate some stop motion tricks take this as an added bonus.
