Man Down Alarm systems detect the presence of a fall, or if an impact is detected, they will send a message to the lone worker's employer so they can get help as soon as possible. This can be particularly helpful for lone workers working away from a fixed work base where they may not have access to a phone.
In addition to the fall detection, the Man Down Alert app also has a motion feature that will notify the worker's monitor if there is no movement within a time period, set by the guard. This is useful for preventing false alarms and can be used for a range of activities from three minutes to one hour.
