Rasi bintang Sagittarius
Sagittarius adalah suatu rasi bintang dari zodiak. Sagittarius berada di antara rasi Scorpius di sebelah Barat dan Capricornus di sebelah Timur. Dalam Zodiak, individu yang memiliki bintang Sagittarius, terlahir pada 22 November hingga 21 Desember, ketika matahari ada pada bintang Sagittarius. Sagittarius hanya dapat dilihat di langit malam musim panas, dekat kaki langit di selatan, dari Juni hingga awal September. Dapat dilihat antara 55° LU dan 90° LS. Rasi bintang ini tampak paling jelas pada pukul 21.00 selama bulan Agustus. Sagittarius umumnya digambarkan sebagai seekor Centaur yang sedang menarik sebuah busur. Simbiolisme nya adalah pemanah. Merupakan keluarga zodidak dan berada di kuadran SQ4. Pola rasi bintang Sagittarius berbatasan dengan Aquila, Scutum, Serpens Cauda, Ophiuchus, Scorpius, Corona Australis, Telescopium, Indus, Microscopium, dan Capricornus. Rasi ini memiliki 68 bintang, gambar tersebut merupan bintang paling terangnya, yaitu ε Sgr (Kaus Australis).
