Johnny's feud with Terry Silver (founder and instructor of Cobra Kai) escalates despite his attempts at ending the bullying. Silver is planning to reopen Cobra Kai franchising throughout All-Valley in order to attract youths who are willing to learn about his style. Silver also hires Mitch as a shady figure to bribe referees for his All Valley championship match with Mike Barnes.

Johnny walks into the Cobra Kai Dojo, which is now empty. He sees that its slogan was "STRIKE FAST". STRIKE HARDER. No Mercy!" cobrakaicostume is written on the wall.
