Minecraft is already a clever game, but it could look better, isn't it? There is an odd method of designing things quickly and easily, and that's AI. Images from Dall-E are all on the internet and AI is very well-known. It was only a matter of time until Minecraft got the AI treatment.
Mysticat, a group you'll typically find working tanks and shooting their friends with them, decided it was about time we realized the full potential of Mojang's voxel world. In their most recent video, they go through several AI systems to change how the game looks and sounds. Soundraw is used to create sound effects and music and Craiyon to create textures. You can follow along with the video for every AI used, and each small change will add up.
All of these small changes can lead to a strange outcome. While some blocks like dirt appear pretty decent The PNG images of flowers and the horrifying faces of some of the Minecraft mobs can be terrifying. The sound effects are haunting, with each animal sounding as if you'd expect to hear as the world is sucked into the demons.

We believe this is a good sign that it's people who should be creating games, rather than AI-powered websites. This should also mean that the inevitable machine revolution is still a ways away. We're still in danger in the event that Minecraft's Warden becomes real and escapes from the game.
