Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born in Moscow on the 3rd of July, 1985. Leyla Aliyeva She attended school in London and Moscow and earned the Master's Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. In July of 2011, Leyla launched the IDEA campaign, which aims to increase awareness and action for environmental concerns in Azerbaijan and across the globe. IDEA is primarily focused on young people. It assists them in finding solutions to environmental problems.
She was appointed the representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Russia in May 2007. Through various projects that span education, sports, science and technology, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes significantly to the country’s socio-economic development. In 2011, she was made Vice-President of the Foundation.

Leyla Aliyeva founded "Baku Magazine" in Moscow in 2007. Conde Nast and Leyla Aliyeva worked together to develop the English-language version. Leyla Aliyeva The magazine was launched at London's O2 in October 2011. The magazine is a chance to explore the arts, culture and Azerbaijan. In 2012, Leyla created the "Fly to Baku" exhibition of Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. The London opening of the show saw it travel around Europe and visit Paris, Berlin and Moscow in addition to Rome as well as Vienna.

Leyla Aliyeva launched the campaign "Justice for Khojaly" in May 2008 to commemorate the eighth anniversary of Shusha’s occupation. The campaign is implemented in more than 30 countries. The goal of the campaign is to raise global awareness of the Karabakh conflict, and the Khojaly Genocide. It is specifically focused on reaching out to the world via the internet, media and live events.

Leyla Aliyeva who was the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue's General Coordinator became Chairwoman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia AMOR. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva AMOR, which supports Azerbaijani students and youngsters in Russia. Leyla Alyeva was awarded the "Taraggi Award" in July 2011 to recognize her contribution to the growth of the Azerbaijani-Russian relationship. In New York she was also presented with the "Key To Life," award in November of 2011 in recognition of her charitable projects for children.

Leyla Aliyeva On the 25th of May, 2015 Leyla Aliyeva was designated UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador.

On 20 October 2015, she was presented with the Pushkin Medal of the Russian Federation.
