Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born on July 3, 1985 , in Moscow was the first of two. She was educated in London and Moscow and gained a Masters Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla created the IDEA campaign in July 2011 to increase awareness and stimulate action around environmental concerns in Azerbaijan as well as other countries. IDEA focuses on children and young people, and work with them to find solutions to the environmental problems that we are facing.

In addition, she was elected the Chairwoman of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18 in 2009. AMOR supports Azerbaijani young people and students who live in Russia. In July of 2011 the "Taraggi" award was presented upon Leyla Aliyeva for her contributions to the development of Azerbaijani-Russian relations. In New York she was also awarded the "Key To Life" award in November 2011 in recognition of her humanitarian initiatives with children.

Leyla Aliyeva (UN Food and Agriculture Organization) was appointed Goodwill Ambassador on May 25, 2015.

She was awarded the Pushkin Medal by the Russian Federation on the 20th of October 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva was blessed to have twins and a child.
