To play Minecraft for free is extremely simple - users are now able to play Minecraft in a browser-based version through their browsers, and there's no download, payment or money involved at all. Admittedly, that doesn't mean it's necessarily the full experience, as we'll explain in a moment, but it's certainly better than nothing and could be enough to satisfy the desire of some to throw blocks around for a while.
Put simply it's the case that the free browser version of Minecraft is actually an older version of the game and is only limited to the creative mode, restricting your options and experience substantially over the actual game. However, it's more than nothing, and is a decent substitute for those looking for a fix. Read on to find out how to play Minecraft legally at home for free.
Playing Minecraft for free explained
You can find the most effective Minecraft mods here if you have the complete game!
Players can enjoy Minecraft at no cost by clicking this link right here, an in-browser form of the game that's far less extensive than the paid version. In particular, this version Minecraft includes "Minecraft Classic", an older form of the game that only includes the creative mode that comes with it. There aren't any modern updates or additions and no survival elements or mobs - you're basically in a time-traveller back into the 2000s. There are 32 kinds of blocks, with the majority of them being dyed wool. The original bugs are still there. However you're able to only build whatever you want because Classic Minecraft only has the creative mode.
It's a great demo that can be used to demonstrate the game to those who are considering purchasing it, or who wish to give their kids something to do on rainy days or do not have enough money to purchase it right now.
There's another disadvantage to take into consideration - you aren't able to save the game! Browser Minecraft will wipe out all your progress and creations or explorations. There is no way to get them back. serverlist101 Don't get too involved with the things you create.
