If you're a rock fan You've probably seen the Foo Fighters concert. The Foo Fighters led by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl play a lot of venues, including stadiums. This is a band who is truly concerned about their fans. They have a foundation for philanthropy known as the Foo Fighters Foundation that supports mental health programs. Louder Than Life, an annual event for charity that includes several well-known artists and is also hosted by the band.
The festival takes place September 21-24 in Kentucky and has already booked several big-name artists such as Green Day, Weezer, Social Distortion, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts as well as Tool. The Foo Fighters will be performing on September 24 and tickets are already selling quickly.

You can watch the show in the nearby bar if don't have tickets. The Foo Fighters have set up a pop-up shop in the pub The Foo Fighters Arms in London and it comes with food items printed on paper and decorations featuring the band's members in Neoclassical images. This is an innovative method of promoting the group's upcoming album, Concrete and Gold.
There's a second reason why the pop-up shop is so cool. The profits from the sale will be used to help independent music venues which have been incredibly affected by the outbreak of coronavirus. The Foo Fighters will be contributing to the Music Venue Trust's #SaveOurVenues campaign.
Foo Fighters is doing its part to ensure that fans enjoy shows, even if they are sold out. It's a great illustration of how a band can make the simple event into a fun and positive experience for all those involved.
