Do you want to tell everyone about your life without even seeing them? You live in the 2010’s so you probably know about this already, but some kids aren’t allowed. We believe that social media should be used by kids as long as they understand what they are doing and what could go wrong.
Social media helps build relationships, friendships, and family trust. It does so by keeping long range distance problems out of the air.
Our reason two is that parents can see what their kids are up to. It is because if something goes wrong then they can probably fix it. Kids will most likely talk about their problems online to their friends and other family members.
Our reason three is that there are different social media websites that are good for their age and won’t allow them to say certain bad things that other kids do on things like Facebook, and the things they say.
Our reason four is that kids can share the stuff that they like with other people that like the same stuff. For example, I went to the Harry Potter facebook page and ended up finding out a lot. Americans, according to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which is coming out next year, have a different word for muggle. I would not know that without going onto that facebook page.
Are you not allowed on social media? You should be, because kids should be able to have social media if they are responsible enough to handle bad things that could come across them and put their accounts on privacy settings.
