If you're a big fan of beer, skittles and punk rock, chances are good that you have an NOFX t-shirt in your closet. The well-known American rock group made up of vocalist/bassist Fat Mike, drummer El Hefe and guitarist Eric Melvin and bassist Erik Sandin and has been creating music for over four decades and continues to offer their unique brand of drinking beer, swearing and raucous punk to a dedicated fan base. Their refusal to pander to the game of rock and roll and their wacky sense of humor are at the basis of their success.

NOFX is currently preparing to release their Double Album on December 2nd through Fat Mike's label Fat Wreck Chords. nofx merch , including their last album in 2022, have received acclaim and admiration from the music industry and the public at large. If you're one of those idiots who laugh at the decision to release another double album when they've already released 13 albums, NOFX will laugh in your face.

NOFX was formed in 1983 by Mike Burkett as vocalist/bassist (known to his friends and family as Fat Mike), Erik Sandin as drummer and Eric Melvin as guitarist was established. The band's initial two 7" EPs, The P.M.R.C Can Suck on This and So What if We're on Mystic!, were recorded in 1985. Erik Sandin left the band soon after, replaced by Scott Sellers and then later, Scott Aldahl. Vocalist Dave Allen joined in 1986 However, his time in the band was tragically end in tragedy when he lost his life in a car crash.

The group's second full-length album called White Trash, Two Heebs and a Bean was released in 1992. By now, NOFX were able to define their sound and were no longer relying on the impact of shock to get their point across. Their anti-commercialism was evident by songs such as 1992's "Please Play This Song on the Radio," which lured radio producers who were unalert with a tight melody, only to disintegrate into a torrent of obscenities.

NOFX released two albums in 2006, the EP Trust a Hippie, as well as the full-length Wolf in Wolves' Clothing just a few months after. Their 11th album Coaster, was accompanied by a documentary of the band's 2008 international tour in the Fuse network's Backstage Passport series. The band came out with their own album in 2012 which was more self-aware than previous albums.
