Crytek and DeNA Partner for F2P Mobile Game the Collectables

Crytek, a company known for its stunning graphics in first-person shooters, has joined with DeNA to join The Collectables' free-to-play mobile gaming area.



Using a modified version of the Crytek engine, The Collectables is what you'd hope for from an Crytek game: "intense combat, extreme gunfights, 3D battlegrounds and classic action heroes that are larger than life to give players a truly mobile gaming experience." Those who purchase the game in advance will get access to a character in the game equipped with exclusive gear that is limited-time only.



The Collectables will not be available until 2014. DeNA and Crytek hope to have it available in 2014.



Mobile Gamers Get Blockbuster Action from Crytek and DeNA with The Collectables



San Francisco (USA), Frankfurt am Main (Germany), December 11, 2013, Crytek has teamed up with DeNA, the world's largest mobile games company to create The Collectables, its first free-to-play mobile game.



The Collectables is available for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices through DeNA's mobile gaming platform Mobage. It comes with stunning graphics that are built on Crytek's CRYENGINE technology. The game combines strategy and action in which players take on the role of soldiers who are a bit out of the norm in missions around the world.
