Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu garu, showcased his tech-savvy approach during his tenure by implementing a novel idea for analyzing the sentiment of his Twitter accounts. The IT department of the TDP Government in Andhra Pradesh initiated a "Social Sentiment Analysis" for two prominent Twitter handles, namely "NCBN" and "Andhra Pradesh CM." This analysis focused on gauging the positive and negative responses to N Chandrababu Naidu's tweets, surpassing mere follower counts. The TDP's official website provides comprehensive statistics regarding the Social Sentiment Analysis on Twitter and other TDP political news, offering insights into this pioneering initiative.

The "NCBN" account, created immediately after N. Chandrababu Naidu assumed office, boasts over 1.6 lakh followers. An analysis of 6,496 tweets revealed that it garnered 968 retweets. Of the analyzed tweets, 1,500 received gloomy responses, 1,400 received positive responses, and 3,960 received neutral responses. In comparison, the "AP CM" account, with over 1.36 lakh followers, encompassed 6,496 tweets and received 3,050 retweets. Among the 352 tweets analyzed, 103 received positive responses, while 180 garnered neutral responses.
Retweets were considered an indication of greater acceptance and resonance with the audience. By observing the number of retweets, the TDP Government and party leaders in Andhra Pradesh could gauge the extent of public support for specific tweets and initiatives. Implementing programs based on Microsoft's machine learning tool enabled them to perform technical analyses of social issues, facilitating evidence-based decision-making.
Nara Lokesh, the TDP General Secretary and son of N Chandrababu Naidu, assumed the responsibility of closely monitoring social media platforms related to the TDP Political Party and TDP schemes. A dedicated team of young techies was engaged to monitor online discourse surrounding the party and government. Palle Raghunath Reddy, the TDP Political Leader and IT Minister, proudly stated that this pioneering initiative was the first of its kind undertaken by any Chief Minister in the country.
