Before you start gluing, you should make a few adjustments to your cutting mat. In Cricut Design Space, you’ll need a green cutting mat, a Faux Leather material setting, and a Teflon sheet or piece of parchment paper. Place customphotokeychain of the keychain on top of the parchment or Teflon sheet. When you’re ready to cut, select the flashing C button. Once the cut is complete, use a sharp weeding tool to remove the vinyl text from the keychain shape and set it aside. Before you unload the mat, you should check for any missed cuts by pressing on one of the corners of the keychain shape. If it’s not completely cut, you should rerun the cut with the flashing C button.

Once your keychain is assembled, you can attach it to a lanyard or key chain ring. To open a jump ring, I like to use two pliers and grip each side of the ring at the twelve o’clock position. Rotate one wrist forward or backward to open the ring. After removing the ring, add your keychain and close it with another pair of pliers.
