The show is held in honor of a beloved friend of the band who passed away earlier this year following an accidental overdose.
Dave Grohl and the rest of the Foo Fighters have been digging into their merch collection for a good cause. The Learn To Fly rockers have revived a popular t-shirt design that was released in 1995 for a limited edition. Foo Fighters Fisherman Hat from the sale will go towards the National Independent Venue Association's #SaveOurVenues campaign within the US and Music Venue Trust's #SaveOurVenues campaign in the UK.
Chris Enriquez was raised in the Lower East Side and attended his first Foo Fighters concert in 1995. He's been a huge fan since then and doesn't care that his hardcore friends have a shitstorm about it. He's looking to purchase some t-shirts from the store's pop-up shop before it shuts down. It's a great addition to his closet.
