ako : Good day everyone and welcome to our tour of two of the most historically significant places in Cavite - Aguinaldo Shrine and Malinta Tunnel. My name is Ryan Eiron and I'll be your guide for today.

Our first stop is the Aguinaldo Shrine, which is located in Kawit, Cavite. This is the ancestral home of Emilio Aguinaldo, the first President of the Philippines. This is where the Philippine flag was first raised and where the country's independence from Spain was declared.

As we walk through the different rooms of the house, you'll see artifacts and memorabilia that tell the story of Aguinaldo's life and the Philippine Revolution. You'll also get a glimpse of the lifestyle of the wealthy Filipino families during the 19th century.

ako ulet : Now, we'll make our way to our next stop, the Malinta Tunnel. This tunnel played a significant role during World War II, as it served as the headquarters of General Douglas MacArthur and his staff during the Battle of Corregidor.

ryan: This tunnel is 835 feet long and has 24 lateral tunnels branching out from the main one. It was used as a hospital, a supply depot, and a communication center during the war.

As we walk through the tunnel, you'll see different exhibits that showcase the experiences of the soldiers and civilians during the war. You'll also see the different rooms where MacArthur and his staff worked and slept.
