Once Upon a Time, in the land of Ho Chinh Minh City Vietnam, a wise man once said huh, I wish my great-granddaughter was president of Skyline Key Club. Today, at * states time and day* I stand before you today and that wise man was my great-grandfather. Hi! My name is Tien Le and I'm running as President for Skyline Key Club. I know what you might be thinking? What are her qualifications? Well I've been a member for 2 years and treasurer for one year. Although managing finances may not translate to the leadership skill that one must have for president and it's a huge jump, I do offer something significant. Passion. Key Club's changed me in more ways than you might expect. If it hadn't been for Key Club, my fun consisted of playing League 24/7, now my fun is waking up at 4 O Clock in the morning and telling my parents to drive me to a Key Club event. And they be like *in Vietnamese " Why tf are you waking me up, you stupid child, call Jennifer to pick you up". So I'd make my parents angry just so I could benefit my community and bond with other members! If I were president, I would translate this passion to working my sore butt off to building this club. I want to create fun events that you can all enjoy together and bond so members feel more welcome and become a part of the Key Club family that I've known to love. I also want to get to know each and every single one of you, since you make up the foundation for this club. I also plan to advertise Key Club much more, advertising to freshmens and advising my fellow officers to do so too. Fundraisers for PTP, joint service projects with other schools and clubs, and much more to come. With my goals and commitment to this club, I believe I am ready to serve you as your president for 2016-2017 although I can not guarantee that it will be 100 percent smooth sailing, I want to make it my top priority to work with everybody to achieve these goals. There is no I in Key Club but there is an I in unity. The I in unity does not stand alone but with a u in front of it. U and I. Points to crowd. U . And Points to Queen aka me, I. There is also a ty.
