different coloured popsicle sticks, crayons, tissue paper, pom poms, and cotton balls were
some of the materials used. I also gave them a glue stick and they went to work on decorating
their paper plates. We talked about the different toppings on pizzas, and the children
imagined some of their own things that they would add, like mashed potatoes! The children
used the glue sticks by rubbing the glue onto the paper plate and onto the materials, and also
used Popsicle sticks to smear the glue around. This was a great activity for the children to
express their creativity & imagination, as well as exercise their fine motor skills.
