Bad software trying to mess with it has a tough time, and that's thanks to everyone being able to peek under the hood. Another fixes the weakness that someone found. It's teamwork at its best!
Ah, yes, that price. Most things labeled 'free' come with sneaky conditions, but Linux truly is free. Like, really, zero dollars. Great news if you're a college student living on instant noodles or a startup pinching pennies.
