What Makes An Online Poker Champion
This is the basic difference of Texas Holdem variant. Playing Texas Holdem requires some mathematical skills. You need to calculate the odds of winning and decide whether to bet, raise, or fold with just your five cards.

After the blinds are paid, each person is dealt four cards face down from the dealer. These cards are called a player's pocket or hole cards and must be kept secret from other players. Each player must use exactly two of these cards to compose their final 5-card poker hand. Players can choose which two of their four pockets cards they want to use and combine them with three of five community cards to create their final 5-card poker hand.

Texas Hold'em is a game where each player gets two hole cards or pockets. Five community cards are flipped on the table, three cards coming on the flop, one on the turn card and one on the river. Players use their pocket cards and the five available community cards to form the best five cards poker hand. There is a round of betting card poker before the flop, after the flop, after the turn card and one final round after the river. The goal of the game is either to have the best hand or to force other players to fold.

BET: A player may bet if there's no wager on this betting round. If a player wagers, the poker players immediately clockwise from them (and any other poker players) can fold, raise or call.

If a player believes that they have a good chance of winning, they will remain in the game. These players will place their bets. The player to the left of the dealer starts the betting cycle. The player to their left can either check or bet. If they check they make no wager and the next player can also check or place a bet. All players will pay to stay in the game. If the first player bets, then the next player has the option to call, meet the bet, or raise, meet the bet and add more to it. A raise is when other players contribute more money to play in the pot.
