she was no bigger than the average woman on the street yet her adventure and curiosity knew no bounds. not even the fruits of her labor could keep her at bay long enough to see the world for which it truly stood. she saw the world as it came and as it presented itself to her wandering eyes, yet she looked too quickly to avert her gaze to the darkness and murky shadows of pain seeping through the cracks within the beautiful walls she built around her fragile world of wonder and ever longing amazement. she didn't register pain on a scale like you or i would, she saw the world through rose colored glasses ,never truly seeing pain as a affliction of ones ability to be unbiased towards their own care, but more as something she could accept. she took physical pain with a grain of salt and saw it as something that came and went, after the initial shock of the cause of the pain diminished ,she dwelled on it for only 10 fleeting seconds as not allowing her body to process the past trauma. with emotional wounds she simply didn't let it inveigle her mind and twist her perception on reality. emotions were things she didn't grant herself the privilege too ,nor something that was available for her to enrapture. she ran when people saw through the cracks, and on to whatever next big adventure awaited her fragile minded lifestyle. it could be something as simple as distancing herself from a person, or as durastic as skipping town and changing names to keep away from her past ordeals, but no matter the place or time, there was always a bigger more frugal picture waiting to be painted in her midst.
