Silent Assassins
I. What is Silent Assassins?
Silent Assassins (SA) is an online gaming community built to gather as many gamers as possible in hope to better enjoy the experience of online gameplay. Spread out across several games, SA was built with more emphasis on enjoying yourself with an extensive number of friends while providing a competitive experience for those hardened gamers looking for a challenge. Every member of SA is expected to uphold the CODE and be respectful as a priority for membership.
SA is organized through two major parts: the Unit System and the Network. The Unit System allows any recruit to enter the community and design it the way he or she fits, allowing the member to receive exactly what he or she wanted from joining our community. The Network is in place to regulate all aspects of the community, including the Unit System, to keep things in order. Our goal in SA is to provide a friendly, exciting environment for anyone who wishes to bring their online gaming experience to the next level.

The breakdown of how the Unit System and the Network works can be found HERE.
Our rules can be found HERE.

How Do I Join?
1. www.website.com/applicationlink
2. Recruited though Xbox Live properly. (see How to Recruit)
------------------------------------------------
II. The SA CODE
All Silent Assassins members are expected to read and follow the SA CODE, Xbox Live Disclaimer, and Xbox Live Code of Conduct.
SA does not condone intolerance of any kind. All SA Members may not discriminate based on race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or any other personal interest at any time.
All members of Silent Assassins must be at least xx years of age, unless permitted by the SA Network.
All members of SA are not allowed to be a part of the 'ranking structure' of any other gaming community on the Xbox Live platform at the same time.
Violations of the SA CODE are handled by the SA Network, and the SA Network holds final authority in all cases.
------------------------------------------------
III. The Unit System
A unit is your very own part of SA, designed the way you see fit to optimize your gaming experience.
The units are moderated through the Network. See the Network section for more info.
A few rules to follow:
- A Unit has no member limit. It can be any size, based on the Unit Leader's preference. You can try to build the largest unit out there, or you can personalize it for just a few friends.
- You are EXTREMELY encouraged to create your own teams within your Unit and battle against other Units of the same game.
- You can name your own Unit, however it must be appropriate and approved by the Network.
- You can create your own small set of rules. Must be approved by the Network. ALL units are still required to follow the SA CODE, found on www.website.com
- Your Unit is completely organized through your own pinned topic in our Unit System subforum on www.forums.com. This is a MUST to promote website activity, as well as the success of your own Unit.
- EVERY member of SA regardless of whatever Unit they reside in MUST add the Gamertag "________________" on Xbox One.
- The Unit is led by the Unit Leader, and can have a smaller list of representatives and authoritative figures within the Unit to help keep things organized. HOWEVER, all Units MUST still abide by the SA CODE and rules set by the Network.

Create your own Unit!
If you wish to start your own Unit, you MUST do two things:
1. Fill out the application below.
2. You MUST have SA in your Gamertag.

NOTE: Should you choose to create your own Unit, the title of UNIT LEADER is given to you alongside whatever rank you hold in SA. You have officially stepped into a leadership position within Silent Assassins. For showing your pride and dedication to the community and becoming a more involved member of UD, we thank you.

Use this template and post in this forum below to apply to create your own Unit:

IV. SA Ranking System

Rank is ENTIRELY an award system. Moving up through the rankings does not make you any more powerful than any rank below you.
This is SOLELY used to decorate and give credit to our members who put their hard work and effort in growing the strength and size of our community.
Therefore, moving up the ranks is simple and straightforward: Just meet the requirements below for each rank and the Network will commend you for your contributions!
NOTE: The ranking system is heavily dependent on Recruiting. Visit the How To Recruit section to learn how to do it efficiently.

If you are interested in moving up in POWER and helping regulate SA, you must either
1) Become approved to join the Network (see section V)
or
2) Create your own Unit to control (See Section III) (or both)

TO REPEAT: Keep in mind that NONE of these ranks hold precedence over another. EVERYONE IS EQUAL. The difference in power ONLY comes into effect when involved with UNITS or the NETWORK. It therefore follows that members with SA in their Gamertag are, as stated, NOT higher than members without SA in their name. They are only held to a higher standard because of their representation of our community in every game they play. Attempting to assert dominance over another member based on the Ranking System can result in negative consequences.

0. Member (MEM)
Requirements: Join Silent Assassins
- Anyone who joins is given the title of Member. At this position, we hope you become affiliated with how the community works, the activities it provides, get to know the members, etc. You can decide to stay at this rank if you wish or you can begin to work your way up the Rankings by doing what is required.
- More importantly, we hope you highly consider joining a Unit, dependent on your preferences. If you do, take time to familiarize yourself with your Unit's respective schedule of events, the Unit's subtopic on the forums, its members, etc., and try to make some new friends or even come up with your own activities to introduce to our community. A Member has every right to host an activity just like any other member, regardless of rank.
- Every member that joins MUST add the Gamertag "_______________".
- Every member MUST have the correct bio.
- Every member MUST sign up on www.website.com (if applicable)

1. Private (PVT)
Requirements: 5 Recruits.
- Begin to exhibit a stronger understanding of our community, especially the CODE in particular.
- Begin to master your own recruiting technique, it will be important for your entire career in SA.

2. Private First Class (PFC)
Requirements: 10 Recruits, Recruiting Technique.
- Continue to attempt to fully understand the CODE and how to recruit properly.
- Attempt to master an understanding of how the Unit System works, there will be a roadblock ahead if you don't.

3. Corporal (CPL)
Requirements: 15 Recruits, CODE Mastery, Recruiting Mastery
- At this point we hope you are able to efficiently explain the CODE as well as recruit properly. You may be tested (leader preferences differ).
- You cannot achieve any higher rank without changing your Gamertag to SA.
- Your recruits WILL still continue to credit towards your rank, but other responsibilities must be fulfilled before attaining any higher rank.

4. Sergeant (SGT)
Requirements: 25 Recruits or Name Change, Prior knowledge to ALL rank responsibilities below SGT.
- Because it is possible to immediately jump to this rank, all prior responsibilities must be addressed before further promotion can be possible.
- Therefore it is imperative that you catch up on Recruiting, the CODE, and begin to understand all aspects of the community.
- With SA in your Gamertag you are now representing our community in every game you play. Be sure to uphold the respect expected from every member in the community.
- You now serve as the first role model for every member within SA below you. Try your best to assist all members below you with mastering their recruiting techniques, CODE understanding, etc. You should be able to lead by example in all aspects and help with any issues that arise. However, don't overstep your boundaries and report to higher authorities if you feel like you cannot or SHOULD not handle any situations that may come to you.
- You should do your best to learn how the Unit System and Network work together.
- You are encouraged to participate in a Unit of your choosing, and you should do your best to encourage lower members to join Units as well.

5. Sergeant Major (SGTM)
Requirements: 40 Recruits and Name Change, Unit System and Network Mastery.
- You are required to have fully met and continue to exhibit all responsibilities of SGT and below.

6. Second Lieutenant (2LT)
Requirements: 60 Recruits
- Responsibilites of SGTM and below must be fulfilled and continued.

7. First Lieutenant (1LT)
Requirements: 80 Recruits
- Responsibilities of SGTM and below must be fulfilled and continued.

8. Commander (COM)
Requirements: 100 Recruits.
- Responsibilities of SGTM and below must be fulfilled and continued.

9. Captain (CPT)
Requirements: 125 Recruits, Successful Unit Leader (current or former)
- Responsibilities of SGTM and below must be fulfilled and continued.
- Additionally, you must have successfully started a Unit of your own at one point in your SA career, and it should have existed for a substantial period of time (leader preferences differ)

NOTE: All ranks beyond Captain are essentially equal: They hold the same responsibilities as Captain but serve as honors for a tremendous recruiting effort.
10. Major (MAJ)
Requirements: 150 Recruits

11. Colonel (COL)
Requirements: 180 Recruits

12. Brigadier General (BGEN)
Requirements: 225 Recruits

13. Lieutenant General (LGEN)
Requirements: 300 Recruits

14. General
Requirements: 400 Recruits.
- We sincerely congratulate and thank you for reaching such an outstanding accolade. Thank you for your diligence.
------------------------------------------------
V. The Network
The Network is essentially the governmental hemisphere of Silent Assassins. Those who are willing to put effort into helping and building the community can be given a chance to make their way up through the Network's ranks, while those who are just here for fun may still enjoy the same experiences as any other member.
The Network is responsible for all regulations imposed onto the community, including any in regards to the Unit System. Those who join the Network forego extensive training in order to ensure that they are fit to make such influential decisions for the community. Therefore the Network is highly selective in its members.
- You cannot join the Network. The option will be presented to you based on your performance within the community.

The Network Rankings: There are three levels: N1, N2, and N3.

N1. Neophyte (NEO): This is first official rank of the Network. This rank distinguishes those members who show more interest in helping grow the community from those who are here to relax. Now is your chance to show your capabilities as a leader. You will work closely with the appointed Mentors in understanding what your role will become within the Network. You can offer up on where or how you wish to help the community. The possibilities are endless, and your role within the Network will be defined given extensive thought between you and your Mentor(s). It is possible for every member in the Network to have a completely unique responsibility. Nevertheless, all Neophytes MUST be trained to understand the fundamentals of SA's organization in order to ensure the safety of our community.

N2. This level consists of a collective of appointed positions between the Mentors and the Neophytes. None are above each other in rank. Each has their own respective title and responsibility:

Promotion Moderator: Handle all Promotions within the SA Rank System.
Unit Moderator: Handle all Unit System issues.
CMS Moderator: Make sure the CMS is accurate.
Network Eye: Find people worth being in the Network.

N3. Mentor (MNT): These are essentially the overlords of the Network. They are the highest branch and are entirely responsible for the maintenance and success of the community as a whole. Those who show extreme dedication and prove their trustworthiness reach this rank.
