Genada and its geographical location
Grenada consists of three islands: Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.
The island is located 12.4 degrees north latitude and 61. 40 degrees west longitude in the Caribbean Sea.
Grenada is the southernmost island to the south of the windward islands.
Physical features:
Grenada was formed by volcanic activity. Most of the volcanoes are extinct or dormant. An extinct volcano will not erupt again, while a dormant one will erupt again.

Lake Antoine.
An active underwater volcano is " Kick em''Jenny, located 6 miles off Sauteurs.
These volcanoes have been eroded and filled with water to form crate lakes.
The highest peak is Mt. St. Catherine, which is 840 meters tall.
Our coastlines are lined with white and black sand beaches; black sand beaches are evidence of volcanic activity.
