Omaha Hold'em seems very similar in appearance to Texas Hold'em. But the game is entirely different. Omaha comes in different varieties. Omaha Hi-Lo only and Omaha Hi-Lo both exist. Players can bet on limit, no-limit and pot-limit games.

The biggest difference in the games is that hi-lo has both the highest hands and the lowest hands. This allows for the players to split the pot. This is only possible if there's a low enough hand at the table. A hand must contain at least five cards of Eight, with no pairs, to be eligible for the "lo". If there is no such hand, the winner of the entire pot is the player with the highest hand. Having a general grip on stud poker rules will help you develop quickly with this version.
