To save time, you may Unpack all files from the zip directly into the RotWK directory - usually located in C: or D: > Program Files (x86) Electronic Arts > The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king.
Please do so only once you have read the below!!!
PLEASE READ:
1. Make sure v9.0.0 DelayFix is enabled via the 2.02 Switcher prior to installing/launching Beta for the first time.
--- If your DelayFix is already enabled and you've been playing with it on v9.0.0, it won't be necessary to re-enable it.
--- MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS STEP FIRST IF YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH DELAYFIX ENABLED!
2. Paste the 2.02_v9.0.1Beta_Test file in the Rise of the Witch-king directory
--- You will need to disable or delete this file when trying to play v9.0.0 again or you will encounter a mismatch
3. Paste the asset.dat file in the RotWK directory (overwrite current one)
--- make a back up of this file
--- You can keep this file for v9, however, as it is compatible with the version
4. Paste the lang folder in the RotWK directory
--- Make sure the englishstrings202_v9.0.1 file within is in the lang folder
--- You can keep englishstrings202_v9.0.1 for v9.0.0 as it is compatible with the version
--- If you want v9.0.0 tooltips, however, you should delete this file
5. Paste the lotrbfme2ep1.exe file in the RotWK directory (overwrite current one)
--- It would be preferable to make a back up of this file, but not necessary.
--- This file will ensure you have DelayFix for both v9.0.0 and the v9.0.1 Beta
6. If you wish to disable DelayFix, DO NOT do so via the 2.02 Switcher (unless you restore the original lotrbfme2ep1.exe you backed up); simply manually rename the delayfix.big file located in your RotWK directory at the top to delayfix.disabled
--- rename to delayfix.big to re-enable DelayFix for Beta
