Texas Hold'em Is America's Most Popular Poker Game
Pay attention to the cards that are facing up on the table. It is important to pay attention to the hand dealt, but also what is going on the table. This is especially important with games like Texas Hold'em (or Seven Card Stud).

Players have the option of raising, checking, or folding during a round. When the round of betting is over, the dealer discards the card at the top of the deck. The dealer then flips the three remaining cards face-up on the table. This is the flop. Any player can use these three community cards together with their pocket cards to make a poker hand. The second round of betting begins with the player sitting left of the dealer.
