How To Play Caribbean Stud Poker
After the blinds post, the dealer gives each player four face up cards. He starts from the smallblind and works his way clockwise. The first round of gambling begins with the player at the large blind left. He or she can choose between calling, raising, or folding. The 1st round continues until the player who posted little blind wins. These cards are called "community cards" and the game's final stage is known as the "flop". The minimum wager is 4 greenbacks. This round of betting ends with the dealer leaving the player. The dealer will place the last community cards in the middle of each table after this round of gambling, commonly called the stream.

Initially poker was played with just one round of betting. Each player received five cards, and each player was dealt five cards. There was no drawing. Professional gamblers modified the rules to increase their profit. After 1850, it became standard to have wild card and bluffing in the games while at the same moment drawing cards was introduced.

Hi/Lo Omaha poker can also be played. This version allows players to win with "lo/low" hands by holding complete garbage with no higher than 8 cards. For example, a player holding A, 2, 3, 4, 6 would likely have a lo hand and win the pot. If another player held the high hand, such as two pairs, the pot would be split.

After the betting is completed, a fourth communic card is dealt. In poker, this card is called "the turning card". When betting begins, players have the option of checking, raising, calling, or folding.

Hands are ranked according the number of cards that they have. A badugi is ranked higher that a 3- or 2-card hand, and a higher-ranked hand will win over a lower-ranked. If two or three players have the same hand the one with lower value wins. Exemple: If hand A consists of 3spade 5, 5heart and 6diamonds (6534) and HandB consists of Aspade 4heart, 2diamonds, 5diamonds (542A), handB wins.

Once the game begins, a designated dealer is assigned. Each hand ends with a dealer being assigned. Knowing who the dealer actually is is important as it indicates who placed the compulsory bets before each hand (known as blinds), and who was the first to take part in each betting round.
