Geisha and the 3 Lies 10/17/23

Welcome all to this memoir of a virtual relationship I participated in. 4 years ago, I made a fool of myself by being led on by an exotic woman. At least in my eyes she appeared that way. God was she voluptuous. Let's get to the tenderness of our "Beauty and the Beast" tale in a little more detail. Her name was Tanisha, the fact is that she has mentally scarred me even to this day. We met through a social gaming kingdom known as Xbox. You know, the one with advertisements on television year-round for the hottest games out at the time. You really can't miss them. Especially when you have family parties, watch the Superbowl commercials, or even go to the gaming sections at your local stores. Major promotional companies even have a partnership with them. They tend to attach an Xbox code onto their products so people like us can benefit from their in-game rewards. Man, do I miss my childhood. Growing up with a single mother had its true testaments of courage that were to come to play into my life later on. Because I didn't have a father by 10 years of age, may he rest in paradise. I was forced to train my mind from being obsolete. My hobbies were simpler when he was around, my dad would love taking me to strolls around the block with our "tricked" out bicycles ha-ha. I mean, you can't blame me for believing that at the time. Just having him by my side brought plenty of confidence in me. Even if they were plain bicycles, and not some 1963 Sting-ray lowriders. We would race down to the stop sign, and you know damn well he was as competitive as me. I remember swerving my little legs back and forth trying to catch up to him and grasping the handlebars for my dear life. Speaking of catching up, let me get back to the tale that came to life tragically. I first met Tanisha through a video game named Fortnite. I was bored on the weekend and looked up posts through Xbox. They are called "Looking For Group", LFG for short. I stumbled upon a couple posts I was interested in but never managed to interact with any of them. That was until I seen hers, and just like there are profile pictures on IG, Facebook, or Twitter the same applies for Xbox.
