He's narrating in first person different accent/voice. he resumes fishing grumblish to himslef.
Scene 2:
cut to pictures of fisherman with lots of fish and narration of how fishing is a lucrative business. cut to picture of old man dan with one goldfish in a plastic bag thats leaking.
another interview with another townsperson, talking about how shitty of a fisherman old man dan is. something to this effect:
"If only old man dan could catch a fish as easily as he caught the aids, he'd be well off than on, it is.
Scene 3:
defending his fishing ability:
"I wonce caught me a shark, fadu du" "Ten feet in inches. And that was just the width"
