Code Red/False Alarm/Smoke Detector/October 20, 2023/01:07 hours: at approximately 01:07 hours, on October 20, 2023, Communications Officer Bruce LAMBERT received a Code Red alarm over the Security fire panel indicating an activated smoke detector in Centennial 6A hallway, Acting Site Supervisor Vikash Kumar responded to the unit, Security Officer PRAJAPATI obtained Centennial elevator #2 for transport, and Security Officer Navdeep KAUR remained near Centennial main door so that she bring fire fighter in the hospital . Upon arrival to the unit, RN confirmed the cause was due to toaster burn. At approximately 10:17 hours, fire department crew arrived on site and were escorted to the 6A floor where this happen. At approximately 10:20 hours, fire captain T.Meassan. gave Security the all clear; panel and elevators were reset, overhead announcements were made, supervisory emails sent out, and Locating was made aware of all clear.
