What is "Chup dulu"

>> Chup Dulu, also known as Pre-Sale, is a special campaign on Lazada where you can place an advance deposit to reserve (chup) an item, then pay the remaining balance at a later date. Chup Dulu gives buyers a chance to grab hot selling items with limited stock.

1. Can Chup Dulu items be mixed with non-Chup Dulu items in the cart?

No, you will have to place orders for non-Chup Dulu items and Chup Dulu items separately.

2. Can I redeem any vouchers for my Chup Dulu purchases?

Yes, you'll be able to use Lazada platform vouchers as well as product-specific vouchers, if any, issued by sellers with your Chup Dulu vouchers.

For clarity, you won't be able to redeem seller storewide vouchers as well as Lazada Bonus for Chup Dulu orders.

3. Will I be notified on the balance of payment?

You will receive a confirmation message within the app once your payment has been processed. During campaign day(s), you will receive several app notifications at various times to remind you to settle the outstanding balance payment. You will also receive a final SMS notification if payment has yet to be received by the last hour.

4. My Chup Dulu product shows "Out of Stock". Does that mean I can't buy it?

First, try to check the item on your mobile device. Chup Dulu items can only be bought through the Lazada app or mobile web browser. On desktop, all Chup Dulu items will display "Out of Stock".

5. Do I have to use the same payment method for both the deposit and the final payment?

No, you are allowed to use different payment methods for both. However, any instalment options (Maybank, LazPayLater) can only be used for final payment, not deposit payment.

6. Can I cancel my Chup Dulu order?

Cancellation of a Chup Dulu deal before full payment is not possible. You will still need to make the full payment before you can choose to cancel your order.

Kindly note that the cancellation needs to be done immediately upon full payment made to avoid the order from being processed by the Seller. A refund will then be initiated once the cancellation request is successful as per Lazada Refund timelines.

7. Why was my Chup Dulu order cancelled?

This could be due to out of stock, item quality issues or seller was unable to fulfill the order. Therefore, refund will return to you based on the payment method. Click here to check out the refund timeline.

8. What will happen if I did not complete my final payment and the Chup Dulu order expires?

Your order will not be completed. However, as stated in the product page, please be informed that once a Chup Dulu order has been made, the deposit you have paid is non-refundable even when a cancellation is made.*
